This year’s contest theme is: I am hopeful because… Draw a picture showing why you are hopeful or what you are hopeful about.
Entries can be turned in to your teacher or in the office. Entries must be received by November 16, 2023 to be considered for the cover.

Contest Guidelines
- Use the provided art contest form.
- Artwork must be in vertical format
- DO NOT write your name on your artwork.
- To be considered for the cover, you must use the theme.
- Use your own original artwork.
How it Works
Student entries will be selected for the front cover and collage on the back cover of the yearbook. All submitted artwork will be included inside the yearbook.
Reflections Art Program Details

This year we are giving students the option to submit their work to the PTA Reflections Art Program. This is a national art contest. The contest winners at Sunnyside will be submitted to the Oregon state-wide contest. The winners in Oregon will be submitted to the National PTA contest.
The Reflections Art Program is completely optional. If you’re interested in participating in this program, please complete the Reflections Entry Form. Enter your information and include the required Artist Statement.
The Yearbook Art will be submitted as Visual Arts. If you’re interested in submitting another art form such as photography, literature, dance, music, or film, please contact volunteers@sunnysidepta.org.
